Hi, I have the braillenote with the new motherboard and keysoft version 5.1. I've borrowed a cross-over cable from one of my friends and it works fine with his computer. I'm trying to use it to connect my braillenote with activesync. However, I can't. I entered bnipconfig.exe ran the program got the ip addresses but the bn ip field was blank. I hit program bn anyway. Then I hit reset with no keys held down on the braillenote. And then plugged in the ethernet card. i unchecked or disabled the com port com1 in activesync and enabled network connection through activesync. A partnership had already been created. I chose ethernet from the miscellaneous menu in utilities then tried connecting I got an error ding from the braillenote. One time I got a "partnetship must be created message. So maybe it tried to connect? Can someone tell me how exactly to do this? So far connecting through serial seems easier. I want to be able to put mp3s on the braillenote.
