Thanks, Jonathan. Okay. I wonder what would be the best course if you are
using easy c d a extractor? It uses the lame encoder, although I think they
also have the fromhoffer one (sorry about the misspelling).
I wonder if that lame encoder uses variable bit rate?
I figure you may have tried easy cda extractor so may know.

rate. The sampling rate must be standard such as 11025, 22050 or 44100. I
may stand corrected, but I don't think the decoder in the BrailleNote will
handle VBR files, so this may be your problem. Make sure the bit rate is a
fixed bit rate, IE 48KBPS, and the sampling rate is a multiple of 11025.
