What you are talking about is commonly called "beaming".  You can do it
with the PDA's that sighted folks use, and with the Packmate, but to my
knowledge, you can't do it with the Braillenote.  This is too bad because I
could see many uses for that function, i. e. exchanging contact info at
conventions and conferences.
