Use the acknowledge alarm command. On a QT, that's Read with the space
bar. I don't know how to do that on a BN, but it's in the manual on the
planner or in the announce key, keyboard learn or help somewhere. When
the alarm goes off, try doing an H chord. Anyway, once you have your
alarm actions menu, choose from a number of options, including to shut it
up entirely, to delay it a further time and to view the appointment in
question.
