Hi Paul and others who have raised the issue of downloading MP3 files with
KeyWeb.

I hope I can at least explain what the issue is here. KeyWeb uses Internet
Explorer as its underlying browser engine. Those of you who are experienced
Windows users will probably be aware that when you download a file with
Internet Explorer, what happens is that the file is stored in a temporary
folder during the download. When the download is complete, the file is then
copied over to the specified download folder. The same is true of Internet
Explorer under Windows CE. When you download a file, during the download,
it is being stored on the KeySoft System Disk. Even if you tell KeyWeb that
you want the file saved on a compact flash card, because of the way IE
works, the file is copied after the download is complete. The down side of
this is that you only have about 5 MB free on the KeySoft system disk, and
this limits the size of MP3 files you can download directly to the
BrailleNote. So generally it's a good idea to download to a PC if you have
one, and then copy the files across. I'd love to address this issue in a
future release but we need to research how easy it is for us to write our
own routines that bypass the Microsoft ones.

Hope this helps.
