I have had occasion and only a couple of times where by some mystical
meansdocuments which were being worked on and had in most cases, been saved got
lost. It is disconserting when it is your daily diary for the month but in
Lisa's case, an assignment, well I would think she is rather shattered by this
whole thing.
I did not know that you could tell the bn not to bug you to save things in
keyword format. I don't use the bn for really important things like writing
papers but Make the investment if you can find the little pcmcia disk drive
they used to offer. It will at least give you something with which to back
things up. Now I have heard that machine is no longer made but I do not know.
Anyway I don't use mine that often because bot hthe laptop and bn have pcmcia
slots so I can use flash cards.
But when I have had to use the disk drive in the case of being at csun and I
had asked for the material to be presented on disk I found it really wonderful
and too, last summer we used that drive with the laptop because the one which
fit in the ultra bay of my laptop didn't work.
Anyway, I am really sorry you lost your paper notes Oh man!
I wish I could help you with this but I hav, as said before, had identical
experiences and am just as stumped as you are.
