hi. Well, I went through my bn folder on my pc and found Laura's notes on reading back ups. Why this info is not included I'd like to know anyone at PDI can you explain this or why, the findibng of back up material doesn't work just like anythhing else like from the prompt in keyword backspace find drive and back up folder then enter on say general then find my files like the way the computter gave it to me well, fine, now i think I have the way to find things only, the voice note acts like it can't always find my floppy drive. Anyone have this problem? My own unit somethimes does this too? What do you do about it? Is there some5thing wrong with the equipment or does it just not like me today? I have to say that my bn has never had issues with the cf cards so why withthe floppy is a mystery and more of one to me is why in the manual when they tell us how to back things up they don't mention that by the way, you need to find your things now through the file manager and directory prompt. I've liked and still do like the bn, but unless I am just impatient, or really missing things, working with my back ups seems a little harder than it ought too especially if these machines won't find their own floppy drives. That one is pretty important. Well my own unit isn't going back in now until next weekend so thet gives me this week to hopefully figure everything out with working with back ups before mine goes back.
