Peggy, There is definitely a way to do this. Just how effective this would be in locating the car probably depends on just how good a signal you're getting from the satellites, but you can definitely create your own points of interest, and setting one to the location of the car can be done. You could then delete it or whatever later.

I don't know if it's possible, but I'm wondering if a point of interest or something can be set when you're with a sighted person and they park their car, and you want to mark where they park their car so you can help them find it. I'm occasionally with sighted people who, when they park somewhere, forget where that somewhere is, and I'm wondering if GPS can help them find their car, through the information we give them about where they parked. Has anyone ever tried this? Just something this non-GPS user was wondering about. <smile> Peggy mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.home.earthlink.net/~kernsac MSN Messenger [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
