Hello Paul,

Yes, you are correct! The BN battery discharges quickly and perhaps to needing to be recharged every two weeks. The BN battery is the weak link in the chain as I see it. The battery discharges rapidly especially when a flash card or two is in the unit. On the other side of the coin though, the battery can be recharged very quickly at least two hours and one can keep it plugged in all night with no consequences. If you plug in your wireless phone each night, you would do the same with a BN or VN. It depends on what you wish to accomplish the next day.

Hi, Listers.
Someone, today, told me that they need to sharge their braille note every two weeks or so whether they use it or not. They said it loses some of its charge each day even if you don't use it. I thought I had heard on this list that that particular problem had been fixed about nine months ago. I thought I remembered it being something about leaving in a microdrive or flash card or something. Does the BN actually lose a lot of its charge each day necessitating a recharge every two weeks or less?
Thanks.
