All, firstly, for those of you who didn't do geography at school, the
weather here in Christchurch New Zealand at this time of year is gloriously
fine. We're all thinking about the beach, the food, and of course lots of
lovely cricket. In New Zealand it's traditional for the country to pretty
much shut down over the festive season. I will be on leave after tomorrow,
23 December, returning to the office on 19 January. I'll be unsubscribed
from the list during this time, otherwise every message you send to the
list will get an out of office auto reply from me which I'm sure you won't
appreciate.
We will however have a skeleton staff on deck for much of the time. Now the
idea of Dean Jackson as skeleton staff truly boggles the mind, but
nevertheless, dedicated, determined dependable Dean will be monitoring the
list for much of the time.
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you on behalf of Pulse
Data International for your business and support over the last year. Good
things are happening in 2004 thanks to the custom of loyal users such as
you.
On a personal note, thanks for your support and patience as I've come up to
speed in my role with PDI, which has been a challening but rewarding
experience.
I look forward very much to catching up with you all in the new year and
taking the BrailleNote to greater heights.
All the best for the holidays, and please please please, don't spill wine
down your BrailleNote OK?
