Hi, Lisa, The answer to your first question is no. The document must be translated first. The answer to your second question is yes, you may translate it back into braille.
But you don't need to translate the document into braille if you save your braille document before you translate it into text. You can switch back to your braille document by using space with dots 1,2,5,6. (For those on the list using QT keyboards, the command for switching between documents is control with z).
