Hi Linda,

Yes, push the button on the side to do a reset. I believe it is options, spacebar with O, then spacebar with X to exercise your braille display. I hope I'm correct on this! Hopefully, this may wake up those dots!

Hi
everyone.
I've been lurking for about a week now, but have decided to introduce myself.
My name is Linda, I live in Canada, and as I do with you, some of you may recognize me from another list. I have had my unit for less than a year, and so far, have just used it as a braille display for my computer. It is still under waranty, and a few weeks ago, I had to send it away to have one dot repaired. When I got it back, I found that two dots weren't popping up. As per instructions, I am prepared to send it back, but discussion on this makes me wonder about whether or not, there is something I can do myself to reset the dots. So, what would you all suggest I try first? I have heard people talking about resetting, which I presume means pressing that little reset button, and also the term excercising?? the display? I am really a techno idiot, so hope you all will be patient with me as a newbee.
Linda.
