Actually, I wasn't replying to the sender only. One question about 5.1. John, did anyone resolve the alarm problem in that upgrade. I told the individual that if the alarm was to be used in the office, one should use earphones, but even with the earphones on, the alarm came out through the external speakers and probably woke up that office quite a bit, don't you think? (grin.). At least that was my impression of what happened. Just a funny story here. Once some military guy decided to send a sound message to the computer users in our office; I didn't get it, but my team chief did. When she opened the message, it sounded like the fire alarm was going off. All us linguists tore off our earphones, logged out, and ran for the exit with the team chief behind us trying to convince us to come back in.
