Any comments on this or things like this I guess would be much appreciated. Thank you
Hi I have an idea for a future upgrade that I would like to put fourth to
pulsedata and the list and that is the idea to integrate incoming
authentication in to their keymail program.
Right now, you have outgoing authentication set up, but my school internet
service provider has now put in to play incoming authentication and as a
result, I am not able to receive email with my braille note and have to use
my pc or laptop in order to receive email which is a hardship for the
braille note users at my school who had relied on the braille note for
email for educational purposes through my schools' internet service
provider and are not able to receive email.
Another idea for a future upgrade is to upgrade the internet explorer
browser in the braille note.
My school in addition to implementing ssl in to their pop3 email server,
has also implemented it in to their web mail system and as a result when we
go to the site with the braille notes has not made that element of the site
accessible to us either.
Through talking with pulsedata tech support, I have suggested to my school
that they dumb the ssl down to a version which worked with version 4.0 of
internet explorer, which is what the braille note supports at this time,
but they have pretty much told me that since the demand is not there,
(since we only have about 4 braille note users in the school) they have
told me that I would have to have my equipment upgraded to meet this
requirement.
