You can use the CompactFlash slot.  In the User Guide, it says that only a 
BrailleNote with the new board support networking, so you couldn't do it with a 
classic, I don't believe.  According to Appendix D of the User Guide, the only 
option is to put it in the CF slot, I believe, as no other option is given of 
using the PC card slot.  HTH.
