Hi Joe,

The overwrite command works in the BN as it did and still does with a Braille Lite. When you type dots 2 4 6, the BN will beep and you can write the new character.

Dear List:

I'm wondering if someone could provide assistance with respect to editing
documents.

First, is there a way I can turn off the line indicators, the dollar sign p
markers that punctuate the beginning of lines? I have gone to Options and
switched the setting to display as a simple space, but frankly, I find it
annoying that the indicators are there at all, as I feel a false sense of
what has been written in the document. As a side note, I would not mind
seeing an eight-cell indicator to replace the current setting.

Secondly, is there a way one can overwrite a character? If there is one
cell that needs to be modified, I would like to be able to hit a command and
write over it as was possible in the Braille Lite. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any assistance someone can provide.

     Regards,
     Joe Orozco
