Hi Richard,

I can't speak for over there, but here you get the gps receiver if a new system
or just the gps software if it's an upgrade. The gps software is on a compact
flash card. On that card are a few directories and files including the gps
software itself which is serialized for your specific bn. There should also be
a
directory on the card called documents. In that are the user manual and other
documentation files.

Your may be a little different since I haven't the faintest idea who handles
the packaging in the uk, but do look for that directory on the flash card.
Hope it's
there.

Don

Hi,

Notwithstanding the rather damning experiences of UK users of V2 and the
lack of comment from PDI, I received my upgrade today and just wonder if
there is supposed to be a manual with it - 'cos, if so, I ain't got one!!!
There weren't even any instructions in accessible form on how to install the
software.

All that came with mine is a quick reference guide which lists keystrokes
and, so, I can get into virtual mode, for example, but, once there, can't do
anything! The online help is not overly helpful either.

Is this the way it should be, please or, after such a long wait, do I have a
'minimalist' version?

Any advice/comments much appreciated.
