Hi All,
Sometimes the BrailleNote does not power up properly if cards are in the
PCMCIA or compact flash slots. This may be why you got the dreaded do you
want to format question. Try removing all cards before turning the unit on.
Once it is on and at the main menu, you can insert the cards.

I also wonder if this happens more when speech is turned on? I ask
because since I am doing lots of GPS 2 use, I seem to have my speech
turned on more than not.
Lastly, what on earth is the purpose of this formatting? My PC never asks
me if I want to format a drive out of the clear blue!
