If you want to make sure the alarm is set, you can check it using the Alarm
Status option in the Appointment Menu. Make sure the cursor is somewhere in
the (now rescheduled) appointment. Go to the Appointments Menu, and the Alarm
Status is the last option. The BN will tell you if there's an alarm set; if
one is, you will be asked if you want to clear it by pressing Y or N, and if
there isn't one, you will be asked if you want to set one by pressing Y or N.
Next, the warning time will be displayed, where you can type the number of
minutes before the appointment that you want the alarm to ring. You'll be
returned to the appointment. From anywhere else, if you want to check if an
alarm is set, go to the Options Menu and choose the Next Appointment option.
This will tell you the appointment and if an alarm is set, as well as the
warning time if you've set any. If it says "No alarm is set.", you can set it
with Alarm Options. When I reschedule, my alarms usually carry through. HTH.
