Hi Well, what strange things have been happening with my Braillenote. Some of you may remember a little while ago I said that the Braillenote had reset itself and re-formatted the flash disk, (yes, the disk, not an external memory card) losing all my data. This has now happened to me several times and is really annoying because although I'm now doing a daily backup I still inevitably lose some work.
Also, many of my Braillenote Digests have arrived blank. By this I mean that I get the email heading etc, but when I open the message there is no text! So, today, I decided to install Keysoft 5,1 in the hope that this would resolve my problems. As far as I can see, I followed all instructions to the letter. When I was asked if I wanted to import the planner files the Braillenote froze and I had to reset it. After the reset I was told that Keysoft could not open the planner or start the alarm system (or words to that effect) and was told to reset the Braillenote. I did this, but got the same result, so I tried installing Keysoft 5,1 again. I've tried this several times, but to no avail. The version of software burned into Rom is Keytoft 4,2. Does anyone know what might be going on here please as I am getting very frustrated by these problems. I really like the Braillenote, but mine seems unbelievably unstable at present. I must apologise to those of you I owe emails on the list. Because of the problems I've been having I have lost a good deal of email and just haven't had time to catch up with people generally. Hopefully soon I will manage to do this. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
