The Mark All command in the Email Action Menu literally does refer to marking
all the emails in that folder, despite your Find results. I haven't yet
discovered a command that accomplishes what you want to do. However, I tend to
create folders that categorize my email. For example, "BrailleNote List",
"Newsletters", "Email from Family", "Email from Friends", etc. This way, it's
easier for me if I want to do anything with emails of a particular topic. That
way, I don't have to go through a list of all emails and, for example, mark
manually those that fit my topic. It makes it easier because they're
categorized into some type of topic already. Also, it helps to keep the number
of emails in a folder, therefore making it easier to organize my emails. Just
a thought.

>Subject: [Braillenote] Keymail Find And The E-mail Action Menu

>Dear Listers,
>Is there a way to have the E-mail Action Menu process only the results of a
>Keymail Find? Currently, it seems that there is not. For example, when I
>search for the word "battery" in the Subject line, I currently get 49 e-mails
>found. But if I then use the E-mail Action Menu to mark all, I get 459
>messages marked instead of the 49 I wanted marked. So, I must manually mark
>using space m, all of the 49 messages found by the Find command. This is
>time consuming. I would like to be able to use the E-mail Action Menu to
>process what I found using the Keymail Find command. Any thoughts?

>Sincerely,
>Jerry Weinger
