Hi Peggy,

<smile> That's exactly why we're still on the net and we're still
running relatively virus free. We don't take anything for granted,
not even messages that "say" they're from a legitimate source. Too
many people have gotten viruses from email that claimed to be from
somebody in their address book. Too many people have opened a file
that was from a family member, only to discover that it contained a
virus. identity theft is rampant. I did reply to the message, but
after some considerable thought. I saw the 800 number and figured it
was OK. However, I planned to monitor my email more closely and so on
in case my trust were misplaced.

That's huccum a professionally worded warning about the upcoming
letter would have been important. That's huccum if you send somebody
a file, you write a cover letter and/or you talk to the person and
tell them it's coming. I routeenly delete files that are sent with no
explanation. I routeenly delete messages that ask me to click on
something without any explanation at all. Unfortunately, it's a big,
bad, scary world out there and just because we're blind does not mean
that an agency which serves us can treat us like dupes and assume that
we're going to do what they say without any kind of explanation. That
is why, I repeat, that I replied. I saw the 800 number. If it hadn't
been there, I would have deleted the message out of hand, period!
Poof, gone!

Ann P.
