Hi Shawn and all!
Thanks, that did the trick. I figured there had been a way of doing
this.

Yes what you want is possible.
Go to options menu, keyboard settings, use 6 or 8 dot computer braille

Subject: [Braillenote] entering 8 dot Braille on my BN QT
Hi list,
Is there a way to enter the seven and eight dots on the Braille
Note QT? I have turned on computer Braille on both the keyboard and the
Braille display, and I get eight dot characters on the Braille display.
However, when I try to use Braille entry on the keyboard the A key and the
semicolon key act as though they were backspace and enter, just like on the
Braille keyboard. How do I make those keys type.seven and eight
respectively? Is it even possible to do this on this model?
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
Jennifer
