Come to think of it, Maria, I believe the time difference between New York and
Manila should just be 13 hours (now with DST). The 16-hour difference is
between Manila and Los Angeles, Califoria. However, the time tag on your
e-mail says -0800 (look at the second time&date header of your messages), while
mine is +0800. Then again, that could very well be just your server time, and
not really your actual GMT.
Now how is this message BrailleNote-related? Well, people who would like to
know the difference between their time and another person based on the GMT mark
on e-mails now know how to do it in Keymail, LOL. Just subtract the minus GMT
from the plus GMT, or remember that the basis is GMT 0000 (UT).
