Just a quick note to answer this, there is a less cumbersome way and it would 
work best if you have your messages sorted into folders that categorize them in 
some way (e.g., by sender or topic).  I've been meaning to write about this 
thing when I discovered the method last December but I haven't had the time to 
sit down and write about it.
Obviously, the first try would involve some things that one has to set up and I 
need to explain that carefully.  The subsequent use of the method will not 
involve that many steps, however.  OK, if I don't post about it this weekend, 
Riana, please send me a reminder off-list on Monday morning, <grin>.  Serious! 
I need reminders and a bit of prodding.
