To join the BrailleNote Announce List, send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You'll get a welcome message telling you how to unsubscribe and change your preferences if you ever want to. If you go to the Pulse Data website, www.pulsedata.com, you can click on "Products", then "Notetakers", then "BrailleNote Mailing List". Here, you'll find the email addresses for joining both the BrailleNote and BrailleNote Announce lists, and you can click on the above email address if your browser allows, and this will send a message to subscribe you. Otherwise, if your browser doesn't allow for this, you can just send the blank email with no subject or message. The Announce list is one-way, meaning only Pulse Data sends to you, and it tells you about BrailleNote-related news, when software upgrades are available, and such. Before the subject of the email they send you will be the word [bnannounce] in the brackets, so you'll know it's from them. If the traffic's too much for you on the BrailleNote List, the Announce messages are much less frequent, and as it's not a two-way list, there are no discussions and such. I'll send this to the list, but I'll also send it to you privately in case you've already unsubscribed from the BrailleNote List, still want to join the Announce, but don't know how. by Hth. Maria
