Hi, all. It's interesting that, at a time when we've been discussing the BN's battery, mine should decide to act up a little. I checked it at bedtime last night, and it was at 40 percent. I was a bit surprised that it was so high, since the last time I'd charged it was on Monday I believe. But hey! I wasn't complaining. <grin> Anyway, this morning while using the stopwatch while exercising, it started saying battery is critical. At first I thought it was a false reading, but it kept saying it every minute or so. But it lasted through my 37-minute exercise routine, and for another half hour after that, before talking until it went flat, driving it and me crazy. <grin> When I checked it this morning before going into support mode and letting it talk itself flat, it was at 32 percent, but died shortly thereafter. The interesting thing I observed was that, when I plugged it in after it went flat, instead of saying and displaying "battery test completed", it said and displayed "waiting for the battery to recharge". Does it show a different message in Keysoft 5, or does this message indicate something different? In the past, when I've run a battery down with the talking-until-flat setting from support mode, it always said "battery test completed" when I turned it back on after plugging it in. The other thing that was interesting to me is that I'd just recalibrated the BN last month, and the inaccuracy count showed something like 4, so I was surprised that it needed recalibrating so soon. When I looked at what it said under d in support mode, it was something like 29, so the battery is still good and strong. It did something like this about a year ago, where it seemed to need calibration almost as soon as I got the unit back from getting a new battery. So maybe it just periodically hiccups or something.

Anyway, these are my latest battery experiences. I think my machine must have been eavesdropping on this thread and wanted to contribute to it. <lol>
