Unfortunately there's nothing to hang onto the belt loop with the new
Earthmate.  That's the problem.

Hi Alan,

If you look at the strap and look to the left, you'll see a belt loop. You
put the receiver through that loop, that will secure it.  There is also to
the left of the loop a velcroed flap which will house the extra wiring.
Now, I use the Sportrak, I haven't seen the Magellan 310 nor the newest
receiver, the EarthMate, but my guess is that the belt loop would be used

Has anyone found a safe way to wear the newest GPS sold by Sendero Group?  I
can't figure a way to secure the actual unit to the strap on the
BrailleNote.  I don't like leaving the unit dangling by the cable.
