A lot of digital cameras use either SD or MMC memory these days and so, yes,
these are smaller than the CF cards used by the BN and totally different!

If you're looking for a PCMCIA-CF card adapter, I bought one recently from
www.dabs.com for around 7 GB pounds and it works very well.
