Hi Nicky, If your cable modem supports DHCP, it should not be necessary to use the BNIP application at all.
After making sure that DHCP is switched on in the modem, perform a 456/jkl reset and remove the network card for 30 seconds. Once you have inserted the card once more, all should be fine. There are occasions where this won't work, but following the instructions above will resolve the problem you are currently experiencing 99% of the time.
