Hi Jennifer,
The card should be a Type II Compact Flash card, which fits in the back slot.
For the slot on the right, this can be used for PCMCIA cards, or you can buy a
Compact Flash adapter if you want to use Compact Flash cards in the right side
slot. Note that you can have two cards in at a time, one in each slot. I use
a Compact Flash card from Delkin, but some other people on the list have said
they use SanDisk cards. I don't believe the brand matters, as long as it's a
Type II Compact Flash card, in the case of Compact Flash cards, and I don't
believe there's a brand limit on the PC cards as well. The BrailleNote should
just treat them as other drives, to which you can do the same thing as what you
do with the Flash Disk. The largest capacity I've ever heard of for a memory
card is a 5 gigabyte microdrive, and this is supported by the BrailleNote, so I
wouldn't think there's a limit to capacity, unless there are larger memory
cards, in which case I don't believe they would be supported, as I've never
seen them mentioned in anything BrailleNote-related. You don't have to format
the cards, and they'll just be treated as the drives CompactFlash (for
CompactFlash cards) and Storage Cards (for cards in the PC card slot), which
will appear in addition to the Flash Disk and KeySoft System Disk drives. HTH.
