Hello,
An update. I left the Braillenote charging for about 15 hours and then
tried again to switch it on. I got no speech or braille display, so I
pushed reset withno keys helf down. Got version 4.01 speaking and was
prompted to do another reset with no keys down as "flash disk not
available." I did that and was greeted with the keysoft 5 prompt and
instruction to set the time again, which I did. I then got a "system
settings updated" and all has been fine since.

Amy, What message do you get when you go to options and press P? I don't get
a message when I insert my card but as long as its function is there, I
don't worry about it. Sometimes I am told my battery is low when it is
around 63% but I just figure the system can't always do everything
perfectly. Sometimes I'm even told that my card is inserted when I haven't
even taken it out, but as long as it functions correctly I just ignore such
messages.
