Hi, I'm sure Dean or someone will have something to say about the partnerships issue, but you definitely raise an interesting question.
As far as networking is concerned, if you're simply talking about accessing the net and email via your home or office network, you probably won't have to do much of anything at all for your home network except to plug the bn into a router. I do that here and I didn't have to do any configuring at all. If you want to communicate to your home and work pc's via the network card and their respective networks, that might get a bit more sticky since you have to run bnipconfig.exe to set your bn to recognize the address info for the particular pc involved. The two machines would undoubtedly send different address information addresses to the bn and I'd think one would overwrite the other. I'd be interested to hear if there is a way to get around this. This is mostly just for running activesync though, so if you're simply accessing the networks for internet access you shouldn't have any problems. Normally, you shouldn't even have to run bnipconfig.exe when just connecting through the router to your network. Can I do this with both my home and work computers? Can I have a partnership for the bn on both machines? I would guess that by synchronizing contacts with keysync, I could have the same address book on all three machines. That could be interesting. My biggest concern is that I don't necessarily want personal files that might be on my bn to end up on my work computer. I don't care so much if work files are on my home machine. No one ever uses it but me anyway. Another question is whether or not I can be on two networks, the one here at work and the one I'm going to create at home? I have an idea how that might be done, but I just want to confirm it. I need to spend more time reading the manual on this stuff, but I'm not completely sure where to look.
