Jerry and Ann,

Since version 4.0 and until 5.1, there has been a command to paste the first
line in the clipboard to fields. You shouldn't be typing in long URL's if you
can copy it from an e-mail or file to the clipboard. For instance, if you find
the SDW URL in an e-mail like this:
http://pulsedata.propagation.net/SDW/User/login.aspx
then use your block commands to mark and copy (do not append, but copy) this to
the clipboard. This should be the only line or at least the first line in the
clipboard.
Go to a field like the web address prompt in KeyWeb (or the web address field
in the Address List) and press BACKSPACE with V (CTRL with V) to paste that
first line in the clipboard containing the URL. Please remember this command
because it is very useful.

If, on the other hand, you were at a website and would like to get its URL and
paste it to an e-mail message and share it with someone, then from the web
page, return to the address bar by pressing ENTER with O (CTRL with O). At the
web address field, press BACKSPACE with K (CTRL with C) to copy this single
line to the clipboard.
Then switch to KeyMail, write an e-mail message and where you want to paste the
URL, press BACKSPACE with J first for BT users to change keyboard entry to
computer Braille (no need to do this for QT models of course), and then using
your regular block commands (SPACE with B or CTRL with B, then P), paste that
URL in the clipboard to the message.

Keep in mind that in most places where the regular block commands do not work,
yet you need to perform functions like copying and pasting, these two commands
(again, that's BACKSPACE with K or CTRL with C for copy, and BACKSPACE with V
or CTRL with V for paste) can be used.
I mentioned this in my post about tips relating to v5.1. If you received that
from the list, please, please, please read it.

HTH,
Roselle

>Dear List,
>How do you paste a url into the address field in the BN browser. It would
