Hi Bob: No, the extention is brf not txt but thanks for the suggestion.
When I open the book I say no when asking about reviewing my options and yes, I have tried both saying no or saying yes and choosing braille. ----- Original Message ----- From: "bob" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, November 16, 2003 3:20 AM Subject: re: [Braillenote] Book Reader errors > Hi John, > The only thing that comes to mind is, did you check the previous options when you had a chance to do so? Maybe you have the wrong format. That is, maybe it's a txt file and the BN thinks it's a braille book. > > Hope this helps. > Bob > > > ----- Original Message ----- > >From: "John Gunn" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To: "Pulse Data" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >Date: Sun, 16 Nov 2003 02:11:17 -0600 > >Subject: [Braillenote] Book Reader errors > > >Hello All: > > >I really hope someone can help. Yesterday afternoon meaning Saturday I was reading a book in my Voice Note QT, Keysoft 5.0 burned in to rom and no problems. However to night, when opening the same book while it was loading I received the beap and kept loading which I'd suspect but after the book was loaded all I hear is character 48537 in the whole book. I was at the beginning then went to the bottum and still same issue. I then copied this same exact file to my computer, using Kurzweil and no problem with Kurzweil reading the book and yes, I did the file extention association for Kurzweil. > > >I did a soft reset, hard reset, copied the file to the flash disk and tried to open and still the above errors. > > >I just received my unit back from PDI last week after the 5.0 was burned in the rom. > > >Any suggestions would be appreciated because I really hate to send the unit back since I only received the unit originally 3 weeks ago and of course 9 of those days were having the Keysoft 5.0 burned in to rom. > > >John Gunn > >___ > >To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > >[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > >http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote > > > > ___ > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote > >
