Stephen,
Interesting poit.  Maybe someone on the list can explain  the advantages of 
on-board 48 mb memory, verces the higher amount of memory on a compact flash 
card.  And yes, the difference in cost between on-board flash memory verces 
compact flash card memory.  Would it be right to say that the only difference 
is the cost?  Or, are there functional differences?
