Hi, Laura. It is just that I had dollar l commands where I wanted to force a new line. When I converted the document into a keyword document, all if the new line dollar l's were removed.

Paul, I'm not really sure what you are depicting. The character which you are describing (dollar sign followed by an l) is NOT a forced new line command, but is only the word wrapping from one line to another. These formatting characters are only shown if you route your cursor directly to them, and not through casual reading. A forced new line is made by pressing enter, and is shown as a dollar sign followed by a p. When you're working with a nonkeyword type document and decide to save it as a keyword document, the new changes will show up in your keyword document, but not in the original nonkeyword type. For instance, if you were working in a word file and made modifications and decided to save it as a keyword file, the keyword file will reflect those modifications but the original word file will appear as it did before you began to alter it. I hope this has cleared things up a bit, or maybe you could explain a little more if I have misunderstood you. HTH, Laura
