Hi John, Below I am pasting instructions I received onlist from Roselle after thinking that I, too, could not view the contents of my backup folder. Oh how good it is to save useful email in your database. That way, on say, late Wednesday night, when you're exhausted and still need to study, you can help others out AND save yourself time. lol. OK, here we go.
1) Select the Directory option in the File Manager. 2) Select the cf or storage card where your backup folder should be. 3) At the folder name prompt, press SPACE with T (CTRL with T) to switch to the Directory prompt. This is the step most users are not aware about backup folders. They are not just folders, they are a nest of folders and you must use the directory tree-view to see their contents. 4) Press SPACE to navigate to the backup folder, in my case it was the Test folder, and hit ENTER ONCE to select it. 5) Press SPACE again and you will find as its sub-directory the folder in the Flash Disk that you have backed up. In my case, it's the sub-folder called Manual (the same name of the source folder). Press ENTER TWICE to select it. (Note that if you wanted to see the backup directory of the Attachments folder of the Flash Disk, you just press ENTER once at the Keymail backup folder, then space again to navigate to its second layer of sub-directories, where you'll find Attachments.) Pressing ENTER twice not only selects the directory or sub-directory, but takes you in it. 6) Press SPACE with X (READ with X) to view all, including hidden, files, and then SPACE to see the listed items. In my case, I saw: 15 Command Summary B&Q ks.idx ks.toc But the Manual.fnb and us_bnb.exe files are not there, which is logical (see my explanation in the third paragraph of this e-mail). You can then navigate to any file and do whatever you want (delete, move, rename if you're in the Directory option, open if you viewed the files while within Keyword or Keybook, copy or protect/unprotect if you select the corresponding option in the File Manager). Press SPACE with I (READ with I) to get information about the size of the file and the date it was last modified.
