Dear List, I was rudely interrupted by a thunderstorm, so I didn't have time to finish my message and make some corrections.
First of all, the tab key on the BN BT is space with t and to make the second indented tab, it's space with t twice. To continue: To place the arabic numbers, type the tab key or space with t three times. Type the Arabic number. Press tab or space with t twice for the second indented tab. I think you have the pattern now: tab 1 is for Roman numerals; tab 2 capital letters; tab 3, arabic numbers, tab 4, lower case letters, etc, etc. If you want to add a presentation style at the top of your document, then choose lines, not outline. I did this, but I don't think other word processors will recognize any Keysoft "Presentation Styles." I hope this helps those who need to create outlines which can be transferred to a PC so someone else can read them. Terri, Amateur radio call sign KF6CA.
