Hi All,

I am unable to find these commands in the User Guide. I only found them on the
BT by asking for HELP at the appropriate situation, so I am unable to determine
the QT equivalents of these keystrokes; I don't want to make a guess based on
other QT commands, and I want to be able to give accurate information to those
I help. Let me explain the keystrokes I am looking for, and the steps a QT
user could take to find them out for me.

When you are in a list of files and have pressed SPACE to go through, and,
although you are on one file of the list, you have not yet selected it by
pressing ENTER, there are a number of options. Besides the usual Select,
Obtain Information, Jump to An Item Starting with a Particular Letter, Change
File Type, Cycle Back and Forward, and Exit, you are able to Move, Rename, and
Erase the file right from where you are. It is these Rename, Move, and Erase
shortcuts I am seeking. On the BT, they are:

Move: BACKSPACE with M

Rename: BACKSPACE with R

Erase: BACKSPACE with C

If any QT user does not know these shortcuts and would be willing to find out
what they are for me, it is very simple:

1) Go into ANY place in KeySoft where you will be presented with a List of
Files at some point. These applications could include the Word Processor, Book
Reader, File Manager/Directory, File Manager/Move File, File Manager/Erase
File, File Manager/Copy File, File Manager/Rename File, File Manager/Protect
File, Internet Options Menu/Open html File, Favorites Menu/Select Favorite,
Favorites Menu/Organize Favorites, Address Bar/List of Files, Translation
Menu/Import File, Translation Menu/Export File, Translation Menu/Translate
Between Braille and Text, and Address List/Select KeyList File.

2) Select any drive and folder which you know has files. It doesn't matter
what you select. The important thing is that there are files in the location
you've selected.

3) At the List of Files/Documents/All, Including Hidden, Files, press SPACE
once until you are on a file. DO NOT press ENTER.

4) Press the HELP key, and read through the ENTIRE prompt, as what I am looking
for will be the last part of it. The Help message will most likely read as
follows: "To select this item, press ENTER. For information about this item,
press READ with I. To jup directly to items starting with a particular letter,
just press the letter. To view other types of files, press READ with X. To
cycle forward, or back through the list, press SPACE or DOWN ARROW, or
BACKSPACE or UP Arrow." The next three sentences are what I'm looking for, and
they should read: "To erase this item, press [Command]. To move this item,
press [Command]. To rename this item, press [Command].", where [Command] is
what I'm looking for. The last item in the Help message will read: "To return
to the (application), press ESCAPE.", where (application) would be the current
application you would be returning to upon pressing ESCAPE and would differ
dependent on where you are in KeySoft.

I would imagine that QT equivalents exist, although I am unsure, but I don't
see a reason why they wouldn't. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Regards,

Maria
