Hi Terry, Yes, you can connect the BN to an embosser directly via the infrared port. In the Embosser Set-Up List, set the port to infrared, and let the BN control the settings that both the BN and embosser have, such as page settings. I haven't embossed much, as I don't have my own embosser, but letting the BN control the settings was successful for me. To get to the Embosser Set-Up List, when you choose to Print or Emboss anything, press S at the prompt to "Emboss or Set-Up Embosser", and you will come to this list. There is only one Set-Up List for KeySoft, although you can access it at the "Emboss or Set-Up Embosser" prompt from many places (Planner, Address List, Email Word Processor). When you get to the "Embosser Port" option, press I for Infrared, press ENTER, and then exit it with SPACE with E (Escape), and press Y for Yes if when you're asked to confirm changes. Modify any other parts of the settings you need, and then confirm changes after exiting to have them take effect. HTH. Maria
