Actually, you might want to find out if you are using a gprs network on Verison 
and if so, you can probably connect using that on your cell phone and at 
least read your email and possibly send as well.  If you do have gprs or 
something similar, you should have no trouble browsing the net using the cell 
phone.  
We have at&t wireless and they do charge extra for internet access.  The charge 
depends on how much you wish to download, so you may want to check 
with Verison to be sure of your limit keeping in mind that the amount of 
download includes data from web pages.  

It can be almost as much a hassle keeping track of all this as it is trying to 
track your minutes used.  <smile>
