Hi Richard, Just to make sure I cover everything, let's start here:
To set the BN to print to a file, from the Main Menu, type W, then P and S for the Printer Setup Menu. Press SPACE six times to get to the option for the Printer Port. Press SPACE with dots 3-4 (CTRL with SPACE) until you hear the selection "file" where you hit ENTER. Exit with SPACE with E (ESCAPE) and type Y for yes to confirm the changes. >From there, you can start printing any file. You should still be in the >Printer Menu when you exit its Setup list, so just press P. Select the source >drive and folder, and the file to be printed. Depending on the length of the >file, the BN may or may not beep for a while. When it's done, you will be >returned to the Keyword Menu. To see the result of this type of printing, from the Keyword Menu, type O. If you are asked for the folder, press BACKSPACE first to select a different drive. Choose the Keysoft Systems Disk. At the folder prompt, type "none" (without the quotation marks and do not contract, I mean, spell it out), then hit ENTER. If you got an error message of sorts, you're probably in Directory, not Folder, Mode so type a slash (dots 3-4) instead, and hit ENTER. This should place you in the root directory (also called None folder by the BN). Press SPACE with X (READ with X) to view all file types, and hit SPACE to enter the list of files there. One of them is Print to File.txt. That's the result of the printing you have done, and you would see how the file would look on paper, including the margins.
