Hi, I've found that the best way to locate activesync is to look in the system tray. The item won't be called activesync though. Look for an item called not connected. This is actually activesync and not connected is it's current state. Once you do connect, that name will change to something else, probably connected.
Also, if you have connected before, you really don't even need to touch activesync on your pc unless you have disabled the serial port or something. Just connect the bn to the pc, go into utilities on the bn and then press enter on the connect option in utilities. Or, from main menu press u for utilities then c for connect. This usually will cause the bn to try to connect to activesync on your pc. Then, an activesync window will open on your pc.
