HI Rogere,

Thanks. Someone told me that the Sportrak was selling for $250 from
Sendero, that seems high if it's less than half on-line, so I'll give
them the benefit of the doubt that it's lower than that now.
Best Regards,

Les

Hi Les,

Pulse Data is shipping the magelllan 310 gps receiver, while the sendaro

group is shipping the magellan sportrak gps receiver.
I am presently using both in Wisconsin and will give a report later this

month, before I go to Florida for business and let you know if any
difference in acuracy or advantages.
The one good thing about either receiver is that the serial cable will
attach to either gps reciever, so you don't have to buy a new cable for
$29.00. The Sportrak magellan sells for $108.00 online, not from Sendaro

group, but that does not come with the serial cable.
It also runs on two double AA batteries and they fit in the butt end of
the
receiver instead of pulling off the back of the magellan 310. otherwise
they are both about the same size and weight, but you also need
to buy the special carrying case for the sportrak receiver from Sendaro
group for I believe $29.00 too.

Finally, for those who haven't taken advantage of my free offer for a
gps
2.0 users manual in braille, I still will honor any requests for
sometime
yet, so give me your name, and mailing address and I will shoot you one
out, it is 112 pages long in braille on 11 by 11 inch paper. Roger Behm
