I am making this email, a reply to both Paul and Tom's latest messages on
this thread.

Current cursor positions in files are stored, as one of the many settings
stored, in the keysoft.ksd file in the dictionaries folder on the flash
disk.

The exact purpose of the FNB file is to store the file exactly as it was
entered in grade two Braille, to prevent any ambiguity when the file is back
or forward translated.

the FNB file will only be created in user-created folders on the
BrailleNote.
