Hello:

I'm taking Jonathan's suggestion and changing the subject to battery life.
smile

I use a Voice Not QT with 5.0 burned in to rom and I have to disagree with
some comments on having a CF card inserted in the unit. After doing a full
charge, I always leave the unit on and have since Saturday afternoon. I
like to read books and since I leave the CF card in, I never shut it off and
I think I get close to 16 hours of charge.

Now if I use the modem, that can suck it down or if I play MP3 files, that
will bring it down. Before I wrote this letter, I checked the battery
status and it's at 54 percent.

I guess my point is, I'm not sure if leaving the card in the unit really
draws that much power and I'm using the pcmpcia slot which is the storage
drive.

Just wanted to share my thoughts.

John
