Hi, Paul.
This may be somewhat off topic, but I get around 13 hours of usage
out of my centrino equipped laptop. Note that I have two batteries in the
machine at one time, but even my main battery gives me around 6.5-7 hours.
Is your wife's machine running at its low power setting when she pulls the
plug out? She might want to check her settings and/or think about getting
another battery if she is going to use the machine for long periods.
        Aman

Hi, Jim. That's the only thing that keeps me not too concerned. Even my
wife's Centrino only gets five hours.
I would really like it if I could get more hours or not such a percentage
of a drop each day, but I still get more than a laptop.
