Paul,

I don't quite understand what your problem is. You can definitely fix the
problem by a) manually going through every record and editing the field
entries, or b) create a different Address List and copy records from the
original to this one but change the mapping of fields. Though the first option
means bloody work, the latter may appear more complicated to a new user.

Below are the commands you can use for manipulating records. Your a QT user, I
know, but for the sake of other new BT users who may be experiencing (or will
experience) the same problem, I'm including BT commands within parentheses.

Previous record: LEFT ARROW [SPACE with dots 2-3] or PREVIOUS thumb key.
Current record: READ with 8 [SPACE with dots 2-3-5-6].
Next record: RIGHT ARROW [SPACE with dots 5-6] or NEXT thumb key.
Previous field: BACKSPACE or UP ARROW [SPACE with dot 1].
Current field: READ with I [SPACE with C].
Next field: SPACE or DOWN ARROW [SPACE with dot 4].
Previous word: READ with J [SPACE with dot 2].
Current word: READ with K [SPACE with dots 2-5].
Next word: READ with L [SPACE with dot 5].
Add a completed record: CTRL with ENTER [SPACE with dots 2-6].
Select a record to copy: ENTER.
Change current field: CTRL with K [BACKSPACE with C].
Copy field entry to clipboard: CTRL with C [BACKSPACE with K].
Paste first line in clipboard to a field: CTRL with V [BACKSPACE with V].
Clear current field: CTRL with BACKSPACE [SPACE with dots 3-5-6].
Delete record: CTRL with 8 [BACKSPACE with dots 2-3-5-6].
Copy entire record to Clipboard: CTRL with B [SPACE with B].

As for the other option, I'll discuss it if and only if you find the manual
editing of records too tedious and that you feel you're adventurous enough as
early as now, <grin>. But since your wife was able to fix the problem (was it
done manually?), then I suppose the number of records in your address book
isn't that many to take you a week.

BTW, don't you use the Address Book in Eudora? When you select Import and
Export, in MS Outlook, by pressing ALT+F then T, arrow down twice to "Import
Internet Mail and Addresses", and hit ENTER. Next, you will be asked to select
the Internet Mail application to import from, and the first one there is
"Eudora (Pro and Light) 2.x, 3.x, 4.x".

The fourth one is Outlook Express. Is the Windows Address Book you're talking
about the one selected in the Accessories submenu under All Programs in the
Start Menu? If so, then I believe this is the Address Book used in Outlook
Express because when I open it, I see my folders for the contacts and their
contents in the Outlook Express Address Book. Perhaps (just a guess), you
could try selecting OE in the Import Dialog Box in MS Outlook, then sync your
Contacts List with the BN. Or if you do use Eudora's Address Book, whatever
it's called, then select that application instead.

I cannot guarantee that this would fix your problem with the BN's Address List
since I haven't used KeySync, but I just figured I'd point these out to you.
Sorry for not replying to your question about this earlier.

HTH,
Roselle
