Mobile Accessibility 2 released

Code Factory and SVOX are honoured to announce the new release of its
mobile phone application for the visually impaired, Mobile
Accessibility 2 (MA2). MA2, which comes in multiple languages,
supports most features of a standard Symbian Series 60 mobile phone
like e-mail/SMS and Multimedia Messaging, calendar, calculator,
contacts, battery level, missed calls and many other features.
Further, it will provide some additional tools such as an Office
Pack, Camera program, Screen magnifier, Colour recognizer and a Pack
of 3 accessible games. Please see below for a snapshot of the
additional features supported compared to the first version of MA.
Lastly, MA2 has been packaged with an updated Speech Synthesizer,
which offers superior quality and speed.

For those that have not heard about Mobile Accessibility, this is an
application that is downloaded to one of the phones described below
to allow the visually impaired to utilize a mobile phone to its
fullest extend and beyond. MA2 allows the end-user to easily utilize
a mobile phone thanks to the intuitive menu structure. For more

Full control of device's profiles:

- Ringing Tones: MID, RNG, RTP files are supported

- Incoming Message Tones: MID, RNG, RTP files are supported.

- Ringing Tone Volume can be set independently from MOBILE
ACCESSIBILITY's volume

- Activate/Deactivate Vibration
Clipboard Mechanism:

Phone numbers of missed calls/received calls/dialled numbers can be
copied into the clipboard and copied into other text fields (for
instance, cell phone number of a contact)

Communications support:

Infrared port can be activated from MOBILE ACCESSIBILITY.

Voice Customization:

Speed and Pitch of TTS can now be set

SIM support:

SIM card contacts can be copied directly into MOBILE ACCESSIBILITY's
contact list

Native Graphic File Format support:

BMP, GIF, JPG file formats are viewed directly from MOBILE
ACCESSIBILITY instead of opening an external system application.
Useful when receiving images through MMS or Bluetooth/Infrared

Add new melodies:

Received melodies (MID, RNG or RTP) can be added to the ringing
tones/message ringing tones menu. The user can receive such melodies
through Bluetooth/Infrared or MMS/Smart messages.

Add documents:

TXT files sent via Bluetooth/Infrared can be saved for later review
with the Text Editor Tool.

Multiple-recipient messages:

SMS/MMS messages can now be sent to different people at a time.

Speed-dialling support:

Shortcuts can be established in order to dial a number by just
pressing one key.

Other features:

- The user can know the number of missed calls, received calls,
dialled numbers without needing to enter the specific menus

- Text message loop. User can go from the beginning to the end (and
vice versa) while typing a text message

- The user can know if the battery is being charged/finished
charging.

- Last Word. While typing a message the user can hear the last typed
word when
after typing space. This option is customizable.
